All Your Wishes

End of the series. I liked the series, but as with a lot of series the increasingly difficult situations the heroine faces start to feel almost repetitive. Celia, the heroine, is a professional bodyguard who is attacked by a vampire who wanted to turn her. But it turns out that she is part siren and the attack wakes that side of her. So she is now part vampire, which comes with pro's and con's, part human and part siren (which also has advantages and disadvantages). All of this happens in the first book. In each book of the series she faces a big danger, though there is a connection between them. All throughout she makes friends, loses friends, has complicated romantic relationships and a distrustful relationship with the law because a lot of people think the vampiric side of her will eventually turn her into a monster. There is romance, but no sex scenes and the books are well enough written.
