Michael Kupperman delivers a compelling story of how his father's life influenced their relationship. He pretty much covers his entire life - from when his father was a little boy in the 40s, getting on a radio trivia game show called “Quiz Kids”, to how he grew up with that game show and tried to escape it.
It's an emotionally strong book, which, in its short span, allows the reader to get to know the author's immediate family. It also teaches us a lot about the American society of the time, so much of what I had no idea was going on.
I can't say I like the art very much, but it doesn't ruin the whole reading experience.
