Abandoned in Death

It's In Death, so I enjoyed it, but I wasn't super into it especially after really liking the last one.

Not bad. Interior decorating kept to a minimum, which I guess is all we can hope for these days.

Very enjoyable go around this time. I didn't see the bad guy coming. I am tiring a bit on the house subplot so hopefully that wraps soon.

Strong entry in the long-running series, with plenty of suspense. Dallas & Co. race against time to find a kidnapped young woman before she, like two other women before her, is killed by a psycho who leaves a note saying “Bad Mommy” with each body. The plot is twisted and propulsive, and there are plenty of LOLs from Dallas, especially in her interactions with stalwart partner Peabody. The entire book crackles with energy and makes me realize there's still a lot of gas in J.D. Robb's tank.
