A Stranger's Secret

If you like suspense and romance and a great deal of local historical flavor, you'll love this novel set on the shores of Cornwall in 1813. I loved the suspense of the impoverished lady finding the injured hero on the beach and nursing back to life with her own hands. The person who tried to kill him the first time, though, isn't done with wanting to get rid of him, and is apparently willing to get Lady Penvenan out of the way also if necessary. A very unusual and satisfying tale with plenty of unpredictable twists.

It is best to read the first book first, though!
