A Sinister Revenge

Oh there we go. I MISSED THIS. This particular book finally brings the Veronica Speedwell series back up into the extraordinary category. The past two books were my least favorite of the series, but this one brings everything back around. We finally see Veronica realize it's not a bad thing to depend upon Stoker. He has never let her down, and I can't imagine him doing so ever. I love those two together so much, and so I am thrilled with the ending of this book.

The mystery in this book was FASCINATING – I had no idea who had done the murder(s) until everything was revealed at the end. There's dinosaur fossils, murder, betrayal, strychnine. Basically, just a fantastic plot.

Four and a half stars. Loved this one.
