I had high hopes for this book. I'd read it was the book to read. That is was creepy and unbelievable. And maybe?

I knew almost immediately what happened to Bina and what Catherine House was. What it meant to leave and why there was a curfew, but why? Why?

The writing is beautiful but it's just words. There's no story behind it, just smoke.
