4.25 stars. I really enjoyed Alice's story. Marty is a huge character in this book, too, and a lot of things left over from the last book are resolved in this one. So far this is my favorite in the series, and I enjoyed it a great deal. It was really pleasant to find a solid Christian message throughout the books, with a specific focus on doing the right thing morally despite one's own inclinations.
