Ed Thorp is the kind of genius that belongs in the same group as Feynman, Von Neumann, and really only a few more. It astounded me how much of a great person he's been in every activity he undertook (and there were so many)
Dry and somewhat arrogant. First third of the book is about his childhood, the second third about Beating blackjack, roulette and the market and the final third explaining finance and personal finance.
