YAAAS!!! Thank you for being better a book than [b:A Night to Surrender 10429836 A Night to Surrender (Spindle Cove, #1) Tessa Dare https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1470017606s/10429836.jpg 15334257]. Why am I reading all the Spindle Cove book out of order? Because my library does not have what I need when I need it! Damn you HCPLC! Anyways, I love Kate. Kate, who has a need to be loved, and craves a family. Kate also craves someone to love. She apparently has been spending the past year hating on Thorne, who is delightfully grumpy like, all the time. The soldiers threw him a party, and he... just read that for yourself. I laughed pretty hard at that. It was funny, I felt bad when Thorne was hating on himself. Like, that could have been toned down a a degree or five. The family! Oh gosh, how hilarious were they. I was just as skeptical of them as Thorne too. Like, seriously, no one is that rich, that dysfunctional, and that happy in these books. And says things like, family sticks together. I mean, sheesh, it was like whoa, Tessa, I need you to tone down the happy factor a bit. But then, I remember that I like the happy factor, and Thorne talked about his past enough to bring down the happiness just enough. It will be hard for any book in this series to be better than [b:Any Duchess Will Do 15724338 Any Duchess Will Do (Spindle Cove, #4) Tessa Dare https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1357240391s/15724338.jpg 21399879], that one so far has been my absolute TD book, and I would even say my one of my favorite romance novels to date. I keep comparing them all to that one.
