A Christmas Killing

Loved this short story by Richard Montanari where we meet a young Kevin Byrne, on duty on Christmas Eve. His future partner in the homicide department, Jessica, is just 12 years old and her father is Byrne's boss.
A brief but interesting glimpse into the early years of Kevin Byrne.

It's a very little snapshot into the Byrne/Balzano world. If only all crime could be solved in a night!
