WOW!!! Can't believe how much the film was the same as the comic even down to the words and the looks of the characters, very detailed artwork and well paced story with memorable lines.
I've seen the movie but shockingly never picked up the book. The illustrations and coloring are absolutely gorgeous and amazing. I had gotten this through the libby app and I have to say some of the text was very tiny, thankfully I could increase the magnification so i could read it. I'm unsure if this is the case in the printed copy but the version i had was a bit too small. I loved it. Hands down was great and was exactly what I imagined his work to be.
While I don't care too much for Frank Millers illustration style, his eye for composition is just something else. It's nice to see so much of it carried forward to the film adaptation—as fictional as it is, you can't deny that it's dripping with style.
