After 4 years, 4 long years of on and off reading it, finally I finished it. I didn't postpone the finishing of the book for its dullness, no, it was because of attending university in another region. I read the translated version in Persian that I borrowed from the Library and after finishing it I can tell it was a really great book. For me, it was mostly because I wanted to know what happened to Gregor and partly because I had a Russian friend and wanted to know about Russia more but anyway... .The Death of the members of Melekhov family was the most emotional parts for me. First Piotra and then others after him. The way of describing the death of characters in the book was the most shocking part for me, not the part that was telling they're eventually gonna die, no, but the very moment of death, like: and Natalia died at noon. After some pages of detailed situation of the character, THAT little statement KILLS ME. I expect a second by second situation of the death of char and then I have that... . The Deaths of Ilinichna, Pantelaimon, Daria were kind of bothering too but again the shock took me at the end of the book, Palikooshka. : I'm sorry I didn't have anything but Death in this review :)
