Kenshin seeks out Arai Shakkû to replace his sakabatô, which was broken in battle, but is turned away because Shakkû's son has given up that work. Kenshin leaves, but Shishio's spies learned that Shakkû forged one last blade, which Chô, one of Shishio's ten generals, is determined to possess.
