Bershad used to be a lord. After being exiled by the King, he is a dragonslayer. He can have no home, no lands, no title. He can't even spend the night at an inn. He can hunt dragons and that's it.

Now, years later, the King that exiled him has summoned him. He is to kill an emperor. Then he can be free. But will the King hold up his end of the bargain or is it too good to be true?

I love Bershad. I love all of the characters actually! I love the dragons, and the magic. I thought the pacing was great. I loved this from the start to the end. I can't wait for more. I have found a new auto-buy author.
