Paul Arnold is a native of southwestern Indiana, USA, where he began fly fishing for bass and bluegill while a teenager. After winding down a 35-year professional career, Paul took and antic, five-year road trip to Chicago. He wrote randomly, discovered photojournalism and met his wife, Carol. He and Carol then moved to the peaceful, too-small-for-a-stoplight town of Dillon, Montana, where they have sunk their roots.
He offers the following advice for those poised to move to Montana: "The winters are horrible, the whirling has killed off all the trout and the place is so crowded you can't find a place to stand at the bar; probably best if you stay where you are."
