May Sage

Mai is a crazy cat lady, doubling as a crazy dog lady, whose last words are likely to be psspsspss. A fan of ballet, romance novels, music, movies, and just about anything that makes her forget this dreary world we live in, she’s been writing reports about the people who live in her head since she was eight years old. When Mai first published under May Sage in 2015, she only intended to share her fun stories, but shockingly, people actually read those, so her dream of becoming a full-time author became a reality. Mai moved away from short, simple novellas to jump into more complex plots and characters and worlds a few years later. As her bibliography contains too many books of various tones, lengths, and skill levels, she launched two different pens in 2021: Alexi Blake, for new fantasy work, and Emm Darcy, under which she explores steamier, darker stories.
