Alba Donati

Alba Donati lived, studied, and worked in Florence. In 2018, her collection of poems "Tu, paesaggio dell'infanzia. Tutte le poesie 1997-2018 (La nave di Teseo)" was published, with which she won the Gradiva International Prize awarded by the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She was president of the Gabinetto Scientifico Letterario G. P. Vieusseux. In 2019, she left Florence to open a bookstore in Lucignana, her birthplace, inhabited by 180 people. The bookstore has been listed among the twenty most charming bookstores in Europe. For Einaudi, she published "La libreria sulla collina (2022 and 2023)", translated into several countries and winner of the first edition of the Premio Città dei lettori.
