was not a fan of the style or content - many of the poems felt antithetical to the points made in the intro and others just felt like an attempt to shock the reader 

Funny, heartfelt, suspenseful, and utterly unexpected in many ways. I was recommended this book by a friend and was not disappointed. While I definitely found myself more attached to some characters than others, I really enjoyed all of the cast.

one of the most interesting books I've read in a long time - full of fascinating characters & gorgeous, painful, multi-faceted relationships 

some absolutely gorgeous prose and a stellar cast of side characters (Yule, you are my ANGEL!!!!!!!!!) but I found myself SO frustrated with January for so much of the book 

I'm so emotionally overwhelmed in the best way 

Never met a series that perfectly balances never taking itself too seriously with being so very genuine in its telling - like, this book especially rocked my world with the combination of emotional, impactful moments and complete and total tomfoolery.

One of the most enjoyable books I've read in awhile. Funny, fast-paced, thrilling, & so full of mystery! I loved Gideon & Muir's stellar ability to build out a fascinating cast of characters.

so many lines that broke over me like waves
