One of the deepest hard sci-fi I've ever read. Good sequel too

Pretty decent, bit slow, enjoyable world building. I was warned that this is a bad book to start the series on. They were right. I actually started with Hydrogen sonata, and lost nothing of the introduction. These books appear to be somewhat standalone.

Interesting concepts, a little difficult to follow for me, but enjoyable

Fairly Good Sci-fi, Great Tie-in with Star Wars - The Old Republic Video Game.
Should be enjoyable to Star Wars Fans in general, had a real “New Hope” feel.

There's a lot of detail and I like that perspectives skew the narrative.

Good ending, much fun, felt like some convenient issues appearing out of nowhere to give tension, though. Not my favourite of Hamilton's series but it is still good.

Amazing. It's so fun watching the universe change.

short and sweet, the best right hand turn in the series. a turning point for the series into something more concrete, the previous books felt like they were all just story-building up to this.

A shift in storytelling method compared to the first two Discworlds made this book fresh and enjoyable.

super slow startup, i dropped this book in the first act, but for some reason i came back to it. From part 2 onwards, it was a blast to read. Still threw me off how little of the first book was referenced, but hey, more lore, less replay.

Felt like a fantasy Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.
Some downright laugh out loud moments.
