If you go in with low expectations it's an ok book. It's not good. It's bad until it's good like Riverdale on Netflix. The monsters were interesting though I guess.
WOOF. I couldn't identify with the female lead cause she's a rich white girl with poor decision making skills. JOSH HOWEVER was a great character and he's a sweet precious baby who should be protected at all costs.
A sweet romance that explores dating while disabled but also emotional abuse and the importance of therapy.
Ok I really liked this. I went into it thinking it would just be some cheesy rom-com and in some ways, it was? but that didn't stop me from enjoying the book which was well written, funny and engaging. Also a WOC lead? You already know I'm with it haha
I unexpectedly loved this?! idk idk I'm usually hard on historical romances but this was so much fun to read.
OKAY STACY!! Historical romance that isn't puritanical, we love to see it. Leading man has a tragical story and man, it hurt my heart. But love heals all wounds! Like, literally all. Read the book and you'll know what I mean lol
It was fun and interesting to have a heroine who spoke about her sexual freedom so openly in a historical. Typically the leading ladies in this genre are wilting ninnies so this was a refreshing change of pace.
Once again I loved this book up until the VERY END when it fell prey to the siren song of the OPEN ENDING (a cliff hanger at that?!) so the author could turn this into a damn series. Ugh. Spare me.
Sweet at first but some gaslighting and mental manipulation had me squinting at the end of the book.
Y'all, it's fluff. Steamy, sexy fluff. Like a good s'more. Rafe is a sweetheart and Sloane deserved a good man in her life. I wanted to beat the brakes off her ex-husband's sociopathic behind but that's just me.
I...could not get into this one. Thomas is a gem but the MC was so frustrating and I solved the mystery midway. Damn, you hate to see it.
A tear-jerker of a book with realistic thought processes that is severely lacking in YA heroines. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
There were moments when I thought “what the hell is this author rambling about?” and also, it started off slow but once we hit chapter 17 and things start to pick up, it was an alright book.
I loved it. A strong but still soft heroine, a smart but not smartass hero. A plot twist that I saw coming but still enjoyed reading. Some emotional moments, without getting too deep.
Better than I thought it would be. The ending was kinda...meh but I suppose that's to get you to read the rest of the series.
This is one of those rare books I like the male MC more than the female one. And not just because he looks like Daniel Henney. It was sweet though, good for them.
I DEVOURED this book. Though there was an element of mystery it was pretty easy to solve and that didn't take away anything from my enjoyment of this. Loved it!
I wanted to enjoy this book, really I did. the world had soooooooo much potential except for two big things. ONE, the main romantic interest is a PREDATOR. a teenager cannot be seductive to you, a GROWN ASS ADULT, stop the madness. another thing is the main character is tasked with babysitting her little sister and complains the whole time about it (which is justified in my opinion) only for it to be some bullshit that the only time she finally does something for herself it backfires big time and she gets SERIOUSLY PHYSICALLY WOUNDED? Man, I hate y'all.
It was cute. I wanted to read this since I read the others in the series. Alice Clayton should write for a miniseries on Netflix or something
The art gets better but the story gets worse? Ok maybe not worse but it's going leeeeeft. Very Game of Thrones-esque writing happening here. Guys, why? What in the Red Wedding hell? Still mad about Tara too btw.
