I am shocked by how much I loved this book. It was a little slow at first but once it picked up I could not put it down. And I loved the ending
couldn't put it down
Just when I thought I had it figured out, twist after twist kept me at the edge of my seat. And just when I thought I had it figured out again, even more twists!!! This may be my new favorite book!
I feel like you're either a Chesnut Springs girly or a Meadowlark girly and I'm a Meadowlark girly. I still want to finish the series but it wasn't the best. Her dad's interest in her sex life was... uncomfortable at best...
Woah. I didn't know who/what to believe throughout the whole book. I did not want to put it down!
A little uncomfortable weird love story/sexual tension plot that made the male lead very obviously a creepy bad guy. Too much character build up for not important characters. The ending twist was pretty good though
Way too many inconsistencies.
Too many mentions of and references to Silence of the Lambs.
Too many errors and things that don't make sense that could've been easily avoided by a quick google search.
Too much attention on the “gore” made the whole book read like a poorly written true crime podcast.
Where was the character development of Wren??
This is such a powerful book. I cried when she said“Any boundary I wanted was a betrayal of her”. I had no idea of her struggles but I am grateful she is in a place to be able to share her story.
gut wrenching
Started off slowly but oh man I got hooked and couldn't put it down. Just when I thought I figured out the ending there was another twist that made me cry harder than the first
I loved this series so much. Morally gray is my favorite and this did not disappoint
Trigger warnings galore. This book is so twisted but I still couldn't put it down. If you want something to keep you on the edge of your seat this is it. But be prepared going into it, this book should come with some serious trigger warnings.
I.. I don't know how I feel..I need to process. The twists and turns were truly unpredictable
I had very high hopes and expectations for this book before reading it and it exceeded every single one. It's hard to put into words how much I loved this book
This was the perfect, cute but still spicy romance. I'm usually not a fan of cutesy type romances but I really loved this book. I want more of Emmy and Luke
2.5 ⭐️ I love a good slow burn, don't get me wrong, but this one was too slow... also it's supposed to be dual POV but it's mainly Evie's POV. There should be more from The Villain's POV since his chapters were way easier to get through tbh.
