Great fun.

Not what I would call a fantasy book, so don't be put off if you're not into the genre. Excellent social commentary, insight into human nature, and full of action, wit and interesting characters. Great fun.

James had quite the hinterland. To have his reflections and insights captured here is a gift to anyone interested in words.

Engaging and informative, providing a framework for understanding without talking down to you. A genuine call to arms in defence of the liberties too many of us take for granted.

You shouldn´t need to read this but you probably do need to read this. I did.

I don´t know if Holiday is much of an original thinker, but he´s clearly a formidable researcher and explainer- both valuable skills... and here he complies a great deal of timeless wisdom. Everyone can learn from what´s here, or at least be reminded...

Wonderful. Lots of good actionable insights. Only issue is occasionally odd stats, like “this will make you 6%.happier”. Highly recommended, regardless.
