This is an interesting read about the daughter of a lawyer, Scout Finch, and her life in the fictional county of Maycomb, Alabama. It is set during the great depression.
I liked the characters and felt it easy to relate to them. When the characters thought something I agreed with them. When Scout's father was treated unfairly, I felt sympathy for him. For a moment I could see the world through Scout's eyes.
I didn't really like the main plot. I found some scenes very memorable, especially Scout's escapades in school. However I didn't really catch on to the main message of the story. I feel like the overarching story just wasn't my cup of tea.
In general it was an interesting read and I definitely did not waste my time reading this. I guess I can see why it's a classic.
BEST BOOK EVER HAJAJAJAJAJJAJJAJAH
This Book is filled to the brim with absurd humour and wacky situations. The characters are lovable and charming. The plot makes no sense whatsoever, which is not everyone's cup of tea, but if it is, (hey sexies,) this book is most certainly am enjoyable experience.
What the f@ck did I just read? If I wanted this level of psuedo-intellectual goonslop I'd read the ads in the back pages of the local newspaper
