So, I read this book when I was a lot younger and I decided to re-read now that I'm older. It was an intense book. The romance had me wishing for the best ending possible. It was sorta fast-paced. Overall, I really enjoyed this book. There were intense moments that talked about serious issues. The random tosses of humor were funny and eased the situations.
I found out about this book on TikTok and was skeptical but excited. After reading, I can confirm that the book held up to it's fame. The characters are well written and all the action scenes were interesting to read. I found myself loving Violet more and more. She wasn't your usual main character, she held up on her own and grew throughout the book. The side characters were likable and the romance wasn't forced. I can't wait for the second book to be released!
This book was tough to finish. It took far to long to get to the end and the final battle was anti-climatic. I found myself not wanting to finish but pushing myself to finish. The eventual friendship between Wendy and Tinker Bell was nice and it added a different element. The idea of kids all across London effecting the creatures of Neverland was nice as well. The idea of a twisted tale on Peter Pan was nice but I wish it was managed a bit better. I was often bored of the story and where it was heading.
This book was able to get me back into reading. I couldn't put the book down at all. The ending was a bit predictable but that didn't take away from the book at all. The characters were enjoyable and I liked being able to see each persons perspective and how they felt about the events happening. The main characters were able to show growth and change through-out the book. It flowed well too. Overall I would recommend the book to anyone who wants to get back into reading or anyone who wants an introduction to mystery and thriller with a touch of romance!
The book had a lot to live up to (expectation-wise). I grew up watching the franchise and I finally decided to jump into reading the book. It was worth every second. Katniss is much more enjoyable in the book then in the movie. It was easy to root for her. You get to know Katniss better in the book. The relationship between Peeta and Katniss was also enjoyable to watch unfold. Even if Katniss was too dense to realize that Peeta truly does have feelings for her. I would most definitely recommend.
While it took me a while to finish the book, it was worth it. I had read the short story by Stephen King near Halloween and it really set the mood. The short story was GREAT (10/10 if you ask me) and once I found out that there was a full book on it, I just had to read it. Watching the slow take over of the town by the vampires was interesting. I will say, I wasn't a fan of how most of the characters were written. The end wasn't bad and it lead to me want a second book about the characters that did survive.
I watched Silver Bullet (the movie based off this book) first and knew that I needed to read the book. Silver Bullet is one of my all time favorite horror movies and I was immediately drawn to the book. It was amazing. The cut to each month was well done. Everything was greatly detailed. 5/5 book I would recommend to anyone willing to read it. Not too scary either. Just a real good read.
A sad take on romance. Easy to get into. This was a my first real romance book and it held up to it's name. I could tell the feelings were real between the two main characters. The whole forbidden romance was sweet. Overall, I think anyone who is into romance should read it.
I truly believe that any one of any age can read and enjoy this book. I'm currently reading all of the Harry Potter books and I read the first all the way back in 2018. It may be intimidating to start such a long and famous series, but it's worth it!
I had heard a lot about this book and finally decided to read it. I flew through this book. The writing was magnificent and the story was sad but easy to follow. The ending was bound to happen but was sad to see. Overall it's an amazing book with good characters. I would recommend this book to anyone.
I read this book in middle school and I can honestly say it was one of my favorites. I read through it quickly, even reading during lunch. It was so enjoyable and it was nice to read about the journeys of being a teen while i was just entering my teen years.
