i think i would have loved this book at 14 but now it just feels so cheesy lol but cute concept
I'm sobbing. This book was so beautiful and inspiring. I especially related to the young mother's POV and her story. For as long as this book is, it kept me hooked and wanting to just be constantly reading it. It also has short chapters which I love. I think the epilogue was one of my favorite parts. But overall, I just loved so many of the characters and felt so attached to them by the end, I didn't want it to be over.
Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC!
This was such a fun and entertaining thriller to read and kick off spooky season! I've only seen one Alfred Hitchcock movie but now I definitely want to watch more. I loved the unreliable narrators and that this story kept me guessing until the very end, I had no idea what was going to happen. Overall, it wasn't my favorite thriller I've ever read but it was good and very interesting!
Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.
I was so excited about the idea of this book. But the first half was confusing and hard to get into. By halfway through it started getting interesting but the ending left so many things unanswered, which I hate. Cool concept but definitely not my favorite murder mystery.
This was my first Emily Henry book and I can't wait to read more. This book was so cute and made me go on a rollercoaster of emotions and I loved every second.
I will say this book had me coming back for more and I read through it pretty fast. But it was just so predictable and kinda cringey at times. Definitely not my favorite thriller
I just found this book really annoying to be honest. B was so cringey, especially with it being on first person and having to hear her internal dialogue. Definitely a stereotypical millennial. I wanted to branch out from my usual horror/thriller/mysteries and ready a fun romance but maybe that was a mistake lol.
Oh my gosh I loved this book so much. The way Ruth Ware articulates and describes scenes and characters is beautiful. I cannot wait to read more by her. And oh my gosh the twist at the end, I was completely shocked.
Honestly I found this book a little boring. It was definitely a cozy mystery as opposed to a thrilling mystery, which I prefer. It's a series and I'm not sure if I want to continue reading them. I did enjoy the ending though and I love the main character Judith, she's so funny.
oh my gosh this was so good. it was scary and the twist at the end totally surprised me!! i also cried at the last chapter, i got so attached to the characters lol
I enjoyed this book! I didn't guess the ending, which I usually do in thrillers and mysteries so that's definitely saying something. I'm excited to read more books by Alex Finlay!
I absolutely loved this book. TJR is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors and I can't wait to read more of her books. I definitely cried at the end. I loved the way this book was organized and how it was all set within 24 hours, it was unique and fun to read. I also love how her books are standalone but set in the same universe so characters from other books are mentioned.
I really enjoyed this book despite it being YA. Even though I guessed part of the ending at the beginning, I still enjoyed reading and will definitely read the rest of the series.
This book was really good! I love a good Agatha Christie and this was a modern take on that. I saw some people say they guessed the twists but maybe I'm just naive and didn't at all, so it was a total surprise for me. I love that each chapter is from a different person's perspective so you really get to see how everyone truly feels about each other and makes it hard to guess who was killed and who was the killer.
This book was unnerving and disturbing, hearing Lindsay's thoughts and what she remembers from that night. But I enjoy books that make me feel weird. The ending shocked me and I enjoyed the dual timeline. Overall, I really enjoyed reading this!
This book was so interesting and fun to read. I absolutely love books set in different time periods. I love and hate Evelyn and was completely surprised by the twist at the end, which doesn't happen often to me. I laughed and I cried and I don't think there's anything more you can ask from a book.
This book was beautiful and had my tearing up within the first 2 chapters. I loved it and can't wait to watch the movie.
I couldn't put this book down, I finished it in two days! This is the first book I've read by Coleen Hoover and now I definitely want to read more. This story was so dark and twisted and I definitely didn't see the end coming, absolutely loved it.
I was so intrigued by this book and super excited to read it. But honestly it was so slow and hard for me to get into, until the end of part 4. The ending and plot twist I thought was really good and unexpected. If it wasn't so incredibly slow for the majority of the book, I would have given it 5 stars.
