I read A Doll House my junior year of high school, so I picked up this book back in... uhh... 2002. I am just NOW getting around to reading it.
LOVED this book. Loved Mike's writing style and the wisdom he imparts. Awesome, awesome book.
LOVED LOVED LOVED this book. I've recently started updating my mad CSS skillz by finally starting to implement some CSS3 into my projects. It's nice to see the neat little things you can use CSS3 for now and how to make your code degrade gracefully for those using browsers not up to the latest standards (IE, I'm looking at you). I've never been disappointed by Dan Cederholm's books and this one's no exception.

I haven't read a YA novel like this since I was still a YA! I've heard good things about this book and how cute the story is, and Shana's been an online friend of mine for mine, so of course I had to buy this book!
In short, I loved the story. Avery drove me nuts through most of the book but I loved her at the end. Her best friend, Molly, with her dyed hair and love of computers and programming, actually sounds like me a bit :). And yes, Zac rocked! He was probably my favorite character and he made me laugh.
I finished this book in a day because I couldn't put it down. It's a nice, fun story and I really enjoyed it.
This was a very interesting book! Usually I'm not all about paranormal novels, but this one kept me intrigued. No vampires or werewolves for me!
The thing that struck me the most about this book was the hormones! When I was a YA myself, I don't remember ANY of my books even discussing the issue of sex or sexual activity. I don't know if times have changed, but it was definitely refreshing to see the characters talk and think about how much they wanted each other. That's just me, though.
Will definitely check out the sequel when it comes out!
This book was okay. It's good to have a book that discusses the merits of mobile first, and I enjoyed the sections pertaining to usability on mobile devices. Besides that, I didn't really learn anything new. A quick read.
Maybe it's because I'm in my late 30s, but man, I rolled my eyes a lot at all the talk about partying and drugs. I mean, I get it, it's what rock stars do, but actually reading about it sucks.
Still, I enjoyed reading about the bands I loved when I was in college and later, especially The Strokes and Vampire Weekend. The Strokes' first album will always be one of my favorites, and yeah, they DID end up with a career like Guided By Voices, which is pretty much what they wanted.
This book was only okay. I wanted to point out two nitpicky things: driving from Springfield to Amherst Massachusetts doesn't bring you through the Berkshires, and Mishawaka, Indiana had a population of 33,000 in 1960, which I don't consider a “tiny” place. Maybe I'm just too particular with getting those kind of things right in a book!
This book was okay. I got it for Christmas and read it because it was around. I think the intended audience for this book was a bit older than my age group, as I couldn't really identify much with a lot of the middle aged characters' issues and lives. Still, it wasn't terrible. The ending surprised me, however!
Meh. Not my favorite in the series. Brianna is such an annoying character. I like reading more about Jamie and Claire and could really do without Brianna and Roger. Nope.
I wasn't a huge fan of the writing style, but the plot kept me interested. I'll continue on with the series to see what happens!
Eh. I did not like this book very much, mainly because I did not like the writing style of the author. I don't mind a little melodrama, but this book was FULL of it. Also, I absolutely HATED the ending. HATED. Lame.
Better than Crossroads of Twilight but still not as great as some of the previous books. At least exciting things happened!
This book was hard to get through because I found the writing too flowery at parts. I did enjoy the love and hope sections of this book, as those sections were the most cohesive.
Re-reading this for the millionth time until I figure out what book I want to read next. I love this book.
I've read the Harry Potter series a million times, but I've never entered it into Goodreads. One of my all time favorite series.
Totally both laughed and cried throughout this book. I was skeptical at first but I really enjoyed it.
