Maybe I'm just too dumb for this book, or maybe it doesn't work as well as an audiobook, but I was mostly just confused the entire time.
3.5 stars, I think. The second half I loved a lot, the first half was a bit too slow for my taste (I love action). The book took me almost two months to read, but a lot of the reason for that is that this was my lunch-break-at-work-read and I don't work more than two days a week at the moment.
I'm a dumbass and managed to delete my review when I just wanted to remove the book from one shelf. Can't remember what it said, but basically I loved the book and I'm dead excited for the third one.
I'm gonna echo dozens of other reviews: this would be an amazing Black Mirror episode.
I think my favourite stories were the first and the last one, though all of these were really enjoyable.
My religion teacher is currently borrowing this book from me, so I haven't been able to finish it yet.
So I'm like... supposed to just carry on with my life, as if nothing happened, even after reading that ending? Amie and Jay, do you enjoy putting me in agony?
This was so wholesome and even I - a grumpy, non-romantic spinster - really enjoyed it.
I knew this was a hate-to-love before I went in, but I didn't expect it would be that way for me with the characters as well! I kinda hated them both at the start, then loved them by the end. Pretty neat.
This was an incredible end to a great series! I'm going to miss Theodosia and her story!
This was a really good middle grade that creeps out both kids and adults alike. It took a while to really get going, but I loved the ending!
