I've been a Cher fan since birth so of course I loved her book!

While I liked the show I hated having Joe inside my head.... The stream of consciousness narration also got a bit sloppy and difficult to follow at times.

I think this dragged on way longer than it should have. I picked it up looking for a sci-fi and got bait and switched into a romance.

Murder mystery with a big emphasis on grief.

I felt the connection to The Silent Patient to be a bit unnecessary. Or if it had to stay in, just that Zoe ended up in the Grove too ┐⁠(⁠´⁠ー⁠｀⁠)⁠┌

Honestly one of the worst books I've ever read. I only finished it out of sheer spite. All the characters are dumb as rocks, the author knows nothing about the legal system, also the random ghost sex???? Don't waste your time horrible read

Sapphic body horror that explores the beauty industry, music, and what it's like being Asian American. Would recommend!
