So far, so good. However, it drives me crazy that this book seems to be moving so slowly. I suppose it seems so because so far it has covered over 20 years of the main character's life.

I really wanted to like this book. It had such an interesting plot–man's wife is replaced with an exact (well almost exact) duplicate of his wife. Where did she go? Is he just crazy? In the end, however, I didn't quite understand what was going on in the book with the secret weather societies and all...and I was very much displeased that the book did not seem to resolve the story at the end. We finish still not quite knowing what happened to the real Rema, if anything happened to her at all.

As with the rest of the Odd Thomas books, I enjoyed this one very much. It is a good “doesn't hurt my brain” book and a quick read.

Oh my goodness this book was creepy! I seriously hope that since I'm older than the suggested age for this book of 8 years, that I thought much more about the creepiness of an “other” set of parents with buttons sewed on where their eyes should be than an 8 year old would. But I'm not so sure that would be the case.

This book was good, but the story flew by. I almost felt as though there should have been more detail or more something...but then again it didn't really feel like anything important was missing. Very strange indeed.
