a widowed elderly woman deludes herself into solving a murder and kills her dog in the process. didn't exactly see the point of it all but hey serbian rep !!

The Insidious but for the gays

never knew I needed a queer angel smut this bad until now

This was SO good. I need to talk to a gay person now IMMEDIATELY

Although I admit I couldn't get into it cause of the writing at first, I'm glad I pushed through and read this pretty spooky, yet emotional book. The level of emotions towards the end got me, not gonna lie.

Miss Christie has done it again

A little disappointing that the main plot of the book is literally 1 chapter long. Very atmospheric and with good character chemistry though; Wes is the cutest.

Very character driven and with an open ending but very, very enjoyable.

was interesting enough until it just read like a self insert james moriarty fanfic; like the plot is intriguing but i don't dig a sherlock holmes - y/n - moriarty love triangle idk i could search on ao3 for that

Miss Henry's done it again.

THIS is how you write a romance

Loved the universe and really enjoyed the no romance aspect of the book; however the ending left me a little bit unsatisfied. Overall, this was an exciting read.

Lila... yeah y'all already know what I'm gonna say. Queen

I will live in thy heart, die in thy lap, and be buried in thy eyes and also I will go with thee to thy Uncle. MAN...

Lila DEVOURED as per usual

It was not really for me. I thought the pacing was off and the characters and their interactions were awkward. The world building was interesting enough though.

I thought some sensitive issues were gonna be glossed over so I was prepared to give a lower rating, but there's no way a book with 800+ pages wouldn't come full circle. The good, the bad, I enjoyed every page of it.

Reading this book's like you're watching people take lsd and trip while you're being completely sober

There's no doubt dat Jane Austen wanted us to dive deeper within the psyche of the rich social circles of that time and to play with their characters; every character was well thought out and felt alive to us, no matter how annoying and/or insufferable they are
