I love this book so much

As a Muslim teenager in a western country, I struggle to stick to my values, and I love that this book exists and portrays other Muslims with the same challenges. The romance is really cute, showing that it's possible to have a great love story that's actually halal.

However, from a literary perspective, the prose is not winning any awards, and some elements of the story feel underdeveloped. I saw other reviews saying that the dialogue is a little wooden, but I still think it's readable. I was invested in the story enough not to mind much.

I would definitely recommend the book to any Muslims looking for a halal love story.

I didn't read the original series this book follows, but it was still a stay-up-all-night-reading book for me. Likeable characters, an interestung plot with some twists, and great worldbuilding.
