Im very on the fence with this book, i didnt quite fall in love with any of the characters as individuals or their relationships together though i think im close to that... im really hoping the next book gives a little more

Plot wise I'm intrigued enough to read the next one

Once i got past the fictional and unnamed mental health disorder i really liked this. Gives sally rooney but with a happier ending

Another unexpected story set out in such an interesting way. Although i find the layout of the past/present to be slow moving, i deeply enjoyed this book. The focus on loss/grief in it's many different forms is presented so well. Rebecca Serle always has me tearing up

I hated Tella in the first book so was anxious about going into this one knowing it is from her point of view.. Although I still find Tella semi annoying, she did grow on me.

Absolutely loved this book. Beautifully written. Im a massive fan of greek mythology and this book absolutely did that justice for me.

4.5 - this was so so so cute!! Stella is written perfectly and her acceptance of who she is including her autism made me so happy

2.75* rounded up.. i just couldnt connect to these characters and the romance was a huge miss for me

I thought the plot twist was dumb and not very believable but overall there was enough going on to keep me hooked till the end

4.5* this was GREAT!! Through the whole second half i was constantly on the edge of my seat i couldn't read fast enough

I felt weird rating this one but upon reading some other reviews i agree most strongly with those who rated this 4 stars so i am going with that. I would've preferred a little more positive life lessons learnt from the awful circumstances and acknowledgement of the position/privilege Emily has. This doesn't need to take away from what she has gone through but even the acknowledgement that her career is the reason she has the ability to write this book that people will read would've been nice to see.

3.75.. this book is great love greek mythology so that side of things was super interesting. Fast paced easy to read and a twist i only half saw coming. Not as good as the silent patient but still a good read

UGH YES!!!! Not only was this love story set at the perfect pace but the queer representation in this book, the topics that come up, the fear experienced by queer characters over things we are faced with daily??? LOVE LOVE LOVE

This was sooo hard for me to get into, i connected less with the characters and overall found it a little boring until about halfway through. The storyline picks up from there and oh my god the ending???? This one has left me wanting the next book!!
