This book was enjoyable. There were some parts I did and kind of saw coming. There were also some things that did not get resolved at the end for me.
This was a quick read. What took me so long was the prequel in the back of the book. I read that one first. (And I was reading another two books at the same time.) Good story, fast paced. I think I know what the next one is about.
This one was much better and easier for me to follow. This one makes me want to continue the series, although it is still a bit formula driven
Good book. Kinda hard for me to get into. That's probably why it took me so long to finish.
This book was hard to listen to. I don't understand what's driving some of Miriam's choices.
Wow! This book did not go where I thought it would. Really powerful story. A lot was said about mental illness without it being preachy. I just wish it wasn't the person who came to destroy the colony that found it out. And, I for once, read a Sword and Laser book at the same time as the group did.
Interesting story. I knew some of the places named in the book and may know other places that had names changes. I grew up in the area.
Very interesting. I can see why he ended it the way he did. Although it was not the ending I was looking for.
I like this one too. I could see how the stories could start to get similar. I hope the next one is different enough to keep my interest in the world
Another really good book. I like how this trilogy started out focusing on one character in the first book and became the love story.
Interesting twist to the ending. I may want to read the other books in the series. I'm assuming it's a series, it can't end the way it did.
I had to go back to this one. I thought I could skip the Dacians, after reading Dark Skye I was wrong. There was series arc in this one too. I'm glad I wasn't too far ahead and it hadn't been too long.
I'll start with the story. It was fast paced and interesting. The characters were also interesting. Normally I would want to go on in the series, and I probably will. But having just finished all the Kate Daniels books the story elements seem like it's built the same, with the big battle coming at the end.
This was pretty good. Quentin was kind of a wuss at times. Left the door open for a sequel. Update for second read. I had read this before. I forgot how whiny Quentin is.
This book made more sense in how the characters interacted. I liked this one very much.
