The last section moves really fast in comparison to the first 5. Definitely a slow burn but interesting to see it all play out in the end
the TENSION, the subtle romance- I was entrenched in the story, however the last 100ish pages were milder compared to the final showdowns in the previous books of this series
Loved getting to see some of the behind the scenes moments of the characters we've grown to love
the cliff hanger did in result in me (im)patiently waiting for 2025 and Jennifer Lynn Barnes to publish the next book in this series
I know this says YA but it didn't feel YA to me. It reads like if Hulu's ‘Prodigal Son' tv show was remixed and adapted for teenagers
