update: 11/19 i think i'm going to say 4... i really liked the action and the magic, but i was truly pissed off the majority of the book. the love triangle was triagle-ing too hard...... i was originally really excited for this to be a trilogy, but now that there are unresolved things i feel compelled to read the rest of the books because i need to know how it ends

4.25!! incredible setting and the end really got me even tho i should have seen it coming

def my fav of the series and i loved it!! unfortunately didn't give me 5 star feelings, so 4.75 <3

4.25 i think? i loved this, it was so wholesome, as all lynn painter books are :,) but the ending felt a little rushed and i felt like there were conversations that should have taken place that didn't

i think maybe 4.25?? definitely good story, spooky vibes, i just wasn't as fully immersed as i thought i would be, and this may be because i was switching between audio and ebook. still loved it and the setting was absolutely beautiful

this was so incredibly beautiful i highlighted SO MUCH i love the different dragons and their strengths and omg best MMC ever

so incredibly scary and suspenseful!! i kind of figured it the end but i still enjoyed the reading experience

well this was absolutely heart wrenching – 4.75

the cutest lil crossover :,) only 9 pages and it's still perfect. 4.75 only because it's just a novella, nothing i would change about it

i was genuinely so scared reading this; i kept hearing creaks and noises in my house and i almost had to put the book down
