i was literally biting my nails and feeling incredibly stressed, but so invested in this story from start to finish. holly jackson never disappoints
3.5?? it was fine- a really meaningful story but i didn't feel connected to the characters
I WILL NEVER GET OVER THIS!!! 4.5!!!! lost half a point simply because i was so stressed about the dog the entire book to fully enjoy it
definitely my fav of the series, so wholesome :') 600 pages was a lil much in my opinion, but i enjoyed it regardless!
3.5 rounded up to 4 because i really really love the found family and character building in this book!! it felt a little slow at times, and each conflict was resolved fairly quick, but i had a great time reading it and i can see the potential for the series to be incredibly rewarding to read!
the cutest lil crossover :,) only 9 pages and it's still perfect. 4.75 only because it's just a novella, nothing i would change about it
maybe 3.75?? i can't in good conscience give it 4, but i definitely liked it better than the first. very wholesome <3

i'm torn.... i thought this would be a 4-4.5 star read but the twist toward the end threw me
3.75 but rounding up to a 4 because I genuinely enjoyed it, and thought it was better than the first novella!
i think maybe 4.25?? definitely good story, spooky vibes, i just wasn't as fully immersed as i thought i would be, and this may be because i was switching between audio and ebook. still loved it and the setting was absolutely beautiful
