Enjoyable start to the series!!!
This was definitely a fun read. I felt the characters motivations like they were my own! Seminus Demons make for steamy reading! I'm looking forward to the next one!
Every once in a while I crave stories that buck societal norms. This step-sibling erotic love story set in the 50s certainly fit the bill. While the Daddy and little girl role play isn't really my thing, there's a surprising amount of heart here to go along with it. I know some didn't love LuAnn as a heroine but I thought she was a great mix of innocence and sensuality. She's submissive but she's no doormat. I enjoyed the ways she challenges Brad throughout their story! In the end they have to deal with the troubling reality of what their family will think of them being together. I wanted a little more here but it was handled pretty well. Overall 3.5 stars!

Great storyline
I love a bit of conspiracy in my romance and really like where this series seems to be going! My only complaints are that the dialogue was a bit awkward at times and the way some aspects of the story were rehashed made me a bit impatient to get the story moving forward. The love and action scenes were spot on though and the overall story kept me intrigued. Looking forward to reading Slade's book next.
Sweet and steamy with lots of action!
I enjoyed some elements of this one even more than Fury's story. Slade and Trisha having to survive in the wilderness was great and the big fight at the new Reservation was really exciting and well written. Without spoiling any plot points, I'm really interested to see how things go for these two and New Species as a whole! The character dialogue has definitely improved over the first book. Trisha and Brass' friendship has been really fun to watch develop. I definitely want more Brass! The love scenes are still hot!! The only thing missing for me was more descriptive language overall. I could hear the character's voices but beyond the initial descriptions of the characters' appearances early on I was missing some visual and sensory cues throughout. For example, I loved the initial description of Slade's long hair but I missed any sense of its movement during fights or how it would feel in the love scenes. Not a deal breaker but I found myself seeking more detail and trying to add it in mentally myself. Still enjoying the series! Valiant's story should be interesting!
My favorite of the series so far!
This series continues to grow on me. I loved Valiant's story and how the overall story is moving forward. I really enjoy how possessive and protective Valiant is toward Tammy. It was never addressed but I'm convinced she's expecting! ❤️ It was also great to see Slade and Trisha in this book as well as Brass and Breeze. I've been ready to meet Jessie for awhile and I was hoping that she and Justice would interact but I guess I'll have to read their story.
Oh Cyborgs!
By the end, I found these Cyborg heroes to be quite charming but I understand where some of the criticism of them not having distinct personalities early on comes from. Gabriel is the sweetest one and might just be my favorite.
Without spoiling anything, I wish Bronte had been bit less passive at times. She's a bit inconsistent as a character. I also didn't feel like this was a true menage despite multiple people being in the relationship.
Overall this was somewhere between 3.5 and 4 stars for me.

**minor spoilers ahead **
A few times a year, I'll find a book that challenges my world view. This time the challenge came in the form of this hot little number by Elizabeth Brown. In all honesty, I was a captive audience from the moment I read the plot description.
QUESTION: WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A THIRTY-YEAR-OLD VIRGIN HIRES A SEX THERAPIST TO TAKE CARE OF HER “LITTLE PROBLEM”?
ANSWER: LOTS OF LAUGHS AND TONS OF HEAT. YOU'LL BE LEFT WANTING A DR. RYAN ANDREWS OF YOUR OWN.
“MISS?”
I CLOSED MY EYES. SERIOUSLY? I GLANCED DOWN AT MY DARK JEANS AND CARDIGAN. I THOUGHT MY OUTFIT WAS CUTE, BUT APPARENTLY I LOOKED LIKE A LIBRARIAN. I SIGHED INWARDLY AND RESOLVED TO GO SHOPPING, AS I STOOD UP AND TURNED AROUND.
“LOOK, I'M SORRY, BUT—” HOLY MOSES. IN ONE INSTANT MY EYES COLLIDED WITH DEEP BLUE POOLS AND I
DROPPED.
ALL.
MY.
BOOKS.
ALL OF THEM. RIGHT ONTO HIS FEET.
“SHIT—FUCK,” I MUTTERED, EMBARRASSED, AS I BENT DOWN TO GATHER THE PILE.
All my nights...
I love Alisha Rai's stories! Her characters are vivid and imperfect and feel like real people. Nico and Livvy's family drama provided an interesting backdrop for their journey back to each other.
This was a truly wonderful read. I read it for a course I was taking this term and was truly moved. An engaging and inspirational read!
Finally reading this awesome series!
I'm late to the party on the Black Dagger Brotherhood but I'm really happy to report that it lives up to the hype. I really enjoyed this introduction to the BDB universe through Beth and Wrath. I can't wait to see what happens next!
I'm officially hooked on this series!
I've been sneaking time out of my busy schedule for the last few days to read this book and I was on the edge of my seat reading and trying to guess what would happen next. This series is exactly what was looking for! On to the next one!
Just what I was looking for!
I adored Karen Marie Moning's Highlander series but it took me a while to decide if I was interested in the Fever Series. Now, I'm kicking myself for not giving it more of a chance years ago. Granted, it's October and I'm super primed for the paranormal reads right now but I'm really happy with where the series is headed. This is a world and character building book, so be patient with Mac if she annoys you at first. I'm still not sure what I think about Barrons but I'd love to spend some time with Vlane!
I was definitely entertained with this story! The New Species series is in a similar vein but Lora Leigh's love scenes tend to be a bit more intense. However, I tend to connect more with the New Species characters. There were some nice surprises in the plot that I didn't see coming and I'm interested to see where the series goes.
Unputdownable. Truly.
The subject matter is hella dark and might be too much and triggering for some, but what a great series so far!
Colt, Creed, Keelan, and Knox are easy to love. And Shiloh is crazy strong even if she doesn't always feel like it. She's been through so much and I just love how the relationship with the guys has unfolded. Watch out for the cliffy ending!
What am I going to do until the next one comes out?!
I'm fully invested in this series!
I just love Oli and her bonds. So much happened in this book and I was left with my mouth hanging open at the ending! I couldn't put it down and I'm even more excited to read the next one.
I'm loving this series!
So much happened in this book and I can't wait to see what happens next! Yes there's a cliffy but I'm really excited that the next book is only a month away!!
So good!
I spent most of my day reading this because I had to find out what was going to happen next! I ended up loving all of the wolves but Lucas has to be my favorite. I'm off to read the next one!
So freaking good!
I couldn't put this down. Oleander is so strong! I loved getting to know her and Sage and most of their guys. Though at times I couldn't stand Oleander's Bonds. There's a reason for their discord and I so felt all their drama. I still have mixed feelings about Nox and North but I'm super excited to see what happens next!
Loved Gideon and Rose!!!
I've had this in my TBR for a year LOL and I only wish that I had picked it up sooner. Gideon is a kracken that knows what he wants and that's Rose ❤️❤️❤️
I just didn't expect to LOVE the tentacles, haha!
I also loved the bathhouse and how sex-positive this story was as a whole. Loved, Loved, Loved this!!!
Loved everything about this!
Lyric & the Heartbeats ticked a bunch of items on my romance wishlist. Rockstar romance? Check! RH/Why Choose Romance? Check! Wounded characters finding their place in the world? Big check! I'm loving the omegaverse, and all that comes with it. I like how both authors have been so inclusive with their MM relationships. I just loved the evolution of all the relationships in this story. In the end, I just wanted more time with all of them!
It's good. It's dark.
I don't know how to review this without giving things away. Things get really complicated for Hades in this book. I love how strong she is! Lucas remains my #1 but I love Zed and Cass. If you read Tate James, you should be familiar with her “WTF, Tate?!?” endings. I'm not freaking out. I trust the process. But ouch.
On to the next one!
3 Rockstar Boyfriends? Sweet!
I enjoyed this book! Jericho, Loren, and Houston are all hot and complicated characters. On the surface, Braxton is just a girl trying to win over her new band but this story gets so much deeper and more complex than that.
Gah! So freaking good!!
I knew what I was in for after MK but holy smokes! I love Hades! And Lucas is freaking
Fun with Shifters and a sexy Shadow Beast!
I loved it and I can't wait to see what happens next! I still have more questions about Mera's abilities than answers. On to the second book!
Enjoying this series
Fake is probably my favorite in the series so far! I'm so glad I can read the next one immediately because I'd be in agony waiting for the next one after that cliffy. I'm really happy with where MK's character is going. She's becoming a complete badass and I love that for her.
