I read this because it fitted a prompt in my reading challenge. I had asked a friend if she had read any of his books and she said no. I thought by the number of books he has out, he must be good. I really enjoyed it and I look forward to reading the rest of the Amos Decker stories as I really liked the characters.
I just finished this book and enjoyed it as much as the first book in the series. Absolutely gutted that you don't find out who she chooses before the end of the book - especially as we are in the middle of a lockdown due to COVID-19 and I can't borrow the next book until who knows when!
I really like reading about the adventures of these two! These books have so much entertainment value! I'm already looking forward to reading the next book.
Wow, this was an amazing story! It felt so real. I am going to have to buy it for my bookshelf as the one I read was from the library. I think I'll have to read some of her other books as this one was so good!
This was exciting from start to finish! Really enjoying the John Puller series. I read the latest Atlee Pine story before books 2 and 3 so already knew that Bobby gets all charges dropped, but didn't know how. Looking forward to the next John Puller book!
When America chose to stay at the end of the last book, she should have told Aspen there was no hope for him! She annoyed me a little I must say. If the palace wasn't compromised Maxon would not have picked her, even though he loved her!
Wow! What an eye opener! I read this for a challenge and I normally stick to fiction books but went outside my comfort zone to read this. It's hard to believe the difference between life in prison in NZ (which is not actually life) and life in prison in America!

A little wordy in places but interesting story. I liked how Argylle had the respect of his team mates by the end - even Wyatt.
This is the first David Baldacci book that I have struggled to get through. I think the second half of the book was better than the first. Kind of glad it's just a standalone book.
Finally finished it! I can't believe it's taken me so long to read it especially being a classic! I know Goodreads said I've read it before but I didn't finish it last time as ran out of time in my challenge. I did enjoy it.
Still love this story! It has sadness, happiness and humour. Not sure how many times I've actually read it but it's one of my favourite books ever!
It took me awhile to get into this book but once I did, I couldn't stop reading. I am a stunned mullet - I can't believe the story ended that way! I really need to get the next book out asap to find out what happens to Darrow.
Wow! It was a big book but so much happened! There was laughter, tears, romance, death, life. I did not see the what happened at the end of the book coming, but so glad it did!
I missed the banter between Alex and Sampson with Alex working for the FBI and Sampson not making much of an appearance. Not sure how I feel about him working for the FBI, but I guess time will tell. It was nice that ‘Jam' continued her friendship with Alex via long distance.
This was my first Daniel Silva book. It was easy to read and the characters were likeable. I will try to read more of his books if I can fit them in to my reading challenge somehow.
It was good to see some of the other characters from the first book make another appearance. All the characters are very likeable and there are a lot of laughs when you're reading it. You can guess what's going to happen but it's a nice easy read.
I enjoyed getting to know the characters in this story. I really felt sad when the story ended. I would like to know what happened next for Ruby and Noah after taking over Lavender's farm. Also what happened with the rest of the characters.
Even though the book jumped back and forward in time, which I'm not a fan of, I really enjoyed this book. The characters felt so real!
I read this book thinking of Sheldon from Big Bang Theory - with his spot he likes to sit in and eating certain foods on certain days, it was similar. It was a little predictable but I did enjoy it and had a few laugh out loud moments!
I read this for part of a challenge I'm doing. I do prefer to read fiction books but this held my interest for most of the book. I think the ending was a bit drawn out but that's just my opinion. Hard to believe those lives were taken for no reason at all! Glad that justice was served in the end and that they didn't get away with it. I had thoughts of the circus mouse in “The Green Mile” when Perry made friends with the squirrel!
Like another reviewer it reminded me of the TV series “White Collar”. It's only the second book of hers I've ever read and I really enjoyed it. I'm going to read more of her books with Fox and O'Hare as I preferred this book over the other one I read.
I read this for a book set on a different planet. It reminded me a lot of The Hunger Games as other reviewers have said. I am curious to see what happens so I may have to read the rest of the trilogy.
I couldn't help but read this in Miranda's voice! A couple of moments I did actually laugh out loud.
This book made me laugh and also gave me lumps in my throat. I really liked the story of Kate and Tully being friends and reading about their friendship through the years. I wanted to bang their heads together with their major fight - if only Tully could have apologised! I see there is a sequel so will have to read that now, even though it will just be Tully's story I imagine.
I'm glad June got her dog back in the end. Didn't see the twist coming but really looking forward to the last book to see how it all ends.
