I read this for a book based on sport. I was very pleased there was information at the start of the book about baseball as I had no idea. I thought the story was quite good and thought the characters were interesting.
I saw the movie years ago so decided I should read the book, which has been on my shelf for quite awhile! It was a great read - reading about the mischief Marley got up to. I was pleased Jenny got past her brief dislike of him after the baby and they didn't get rid of him! I did get a lump in my throat at the end and had a couple of tears!

This is the third book in the Lost Daughters series and I really enjoyed it. I liked how the grand daughter found her mother's biological mother and was there when they met. It was sad they didn't meet any other family members as in other books, but good that her mother was still alive to meet her biological mother which has not been the case in the other two books.
I would not have read this book if I wasn't doing a reading challenge and had to read a book about a different culture. Certainly was an eye opener - especially regarding the foot binding which is now illegal.
An interesting story with two quite different stories going on. A kidnapping and a terrorist cell causing big trouble in DC. Then of course the mugger that Nana Mama in invites to live with the Cross family! It's all go! A really quick read!
