Wow, what ecological destruction humans wrought. Burning the forest so it was easier to walk through! Also liked how he tied a log to the back of his truck for break when he went down hills.
I like how the wolf talked in this book “looksmelling” and “spinwagging” Caspar liked how the wolf and raven became friends, and how the wolf was sometimes nice to other creatures and didn't eat them.
Wow, it is books like this that make your troubles seem insignificant. This is the story of an incredibly hard upbringing, and how despite that you can succeed in life.
I loved this series, cool use of technology and some interesting social and political ideas about the future. If you liked the Mars Trilogy by Kim Stanley Robinson I think you would like this.
