This book came highly recommended and it didn't disappoint.
The author's voice is fabulous and the plot...wow, I didn't know what to expect with each turn of the page.
I love how the heroine Sunshine is real and blunt and down to earth...alongside her amazing powers! Such a great contrast.
As for her relationship with Con the vampire...Mel, her boyfriend, is so great but it's the author's skill that makes the reader yearn for something to happen between Sunshine and Con.
Great read.
The 3rd book in the Mickey Haller legal thriller series, I couldn't put this one down.
Absolutely riveting plot.
Lost a star for the rather anti-climactic ending after such a huge build up.
Still looking forward to the next one though.
Absolutely loved it.
A poignant, gut-wrenching story of domestic abuse and first love.
Couldn't put it down.
Highly recommend.
Absolutely loved this.
The tension between Frannie and Luc is sizzling, and Gabe merely ups the ante.
Nice twist at the end, hanging out for the next installment.
I love the author's voice in this series, it's what has me coming back for more.
I'm a huge Patch fan and that will keep me looking forward to the next instalment.
The start of a great new series.
Love a flawed yet extremely alpha hero and Clay was mesmerising.
Angels are the new vamps and this book portrays them in an interesting and fresh fashion.
I enjoyed Clara, the main character's narrative and how the plot unfolded.
Lost a star for the rather anti-climactic ending, where the build up fell flat without serious consequences.
Loved this!
One of those sparkling romances that you don't want to put down.
I really enjoy a good friends to lovers story and reading how Paige and Jake's relationship developed was pure joy.
Can't wait for Frankie and Eva's stories!
Have just ordered Sunset in Central Park and pre-ordered Miracle on 5th Avenue.
CAN'T WAIT!
There's a reason I devour Harlan Coben's books in one day despite my hectic life.
I can't put them down.
His thrillers are utterly readable and keep me guessing right to the very end, which is no mean feat considering I'm an author and can usually pick plot twists a mile away.
Thoroughly enjoyed.
Another wonderful heartwarming story from Sarah Mayberry.
This is a gorgeous book with flawed characters who find their way back through each other.
So readable.
If anyone hasn't read the Hunger Games trilogy, do yourself a favour and do so now!
While I found Mockingjay more shockingly violent than the first two books, it didn't diminish the emotional angle of the story.
Turned pages at a rapid rate and sad to see the series end.
I'm a huge Tess Gerritsen fan, particularly her Rizzoli/Isles series.
This is her latest in the series and while I enjoyed reconnecting with familiar characters, I found the plot twists coming out of left field, lending a disjointed quality to the story.
Lisa Gardner is one of few authors guaranteed to make me lose sleep (as in I can't put her book down.)
Live to Tell is book 4 in the D.D. Warren series and another ripping good yarn.
I challenge any parent to read this book and not be moved. You'll want to go and hug your kids more than usual throughout.
I could hardly put this one down, a stellar five star read, until the end, where the villain's motivation becomes tangled and the reader is left unsure what really drove him to commit such acts of mind-blowing violence.
It pained me to take off that star but for me, the ending detracted from an otherwise stirling story.
Read this in 2011 but re-read now after finishing The Mortal Instruments series.
Now going to buy and read the rest of the Clockwork series!
Cassandra Clare's books are addictive.
Knew nothing about this book when I bought it.
Hadn't heard about it, bought it by the blurb on the cover alone.
An intriguing roller-coaster read.
The quality of Entangled Publishing's debut category romances is amazing.
Gina Maxwell's pens a hero to die for and a heroine you can't help but like.
While Lucie was loveable as the ugly duckling transferring into a swan, ultimately it was Reid who made me read this book late into the night.
Reid is one SEXY hero!!! Alpha yet vulnerable and incredibly HOT!
Looking forward to the follow ups in this series.
Really enjoyed my first Sookie Stackhouse novel.
The author's voice sucked me in and I'm sure I would've loved it even more if I knew more about the characters: there were a lot of them!
Looking forward to glomming the rest of the series.
Sweet contemporary YA romance in a fabulous setting.
Love that the characters were flawed and not super perfect.
A cute read.
I adored Shiver, the poignancy of Grace and Sam, and the overall mood of the book.
While Linger didn't grab me as hard, I still enjoyed it.
Delving deeper into the Cole and Isabel characters was interesting, but the frequent POV changes tore me out of the story.
The relationship between Sam and Grace is beautiful and looking forward to Forever.
