I didn't only read the book, but I listened to the audio version on spotify. The narration is amazing. I found myself reading along with them.
I enjoyed the plot, characters; even the voice actors, the fast-paced. I'm looking forward to reading the next book.

It started off slow, had to drop and pick it up again. Glad I did because in the middle, the characters got interesting. towards the end it turned into a fantasy detective case ? lmao ?
anyways what I didn't like about this book is the new names being thrown at me every 10 mins. dear god, if you ask me where is where and who is who with a gun to my head I'll be dead within seconds

writing is very fast paced. they were kinda cute, didn't feel too attached to them, ending was predictable.
I'm not messing with anyone's balls when I say that starting this book is the best decision I've ever made. To be honest, it was difficult to digest at the beginning, but I told myself, “Let me keep reading.” piecing everything together was simply amazing!!! I'm completely in love with the world building?? CHEF'S KISSES !! +

I am shedding internal happy relieved tears. overall I enjoyed the main characters WAY TOO MUCH they remind a lit bit of cough sam cough dea- ANYWAYS....
well.... anyways... this book was good and bad at the same time for me.
the only parts i enjoyed was the tension they had before they eventually started dating,luciens friends, co-workers and his mother. too much information got thrown at me in between situations/conversations...that i keep telling myself “omfg... just get to the point already or atleast simplify!!” so then i skip a few paragraphs ... which is not fun
I don't really enjoy politics but It wasn't /that/ overwhelming. Loved the personalities, especially Diaz family. Had a wonderful time reading I couldn't go a chapter without laughing.

I watched the series before reading so I know what will happen, and all i gotta say is the casting and acting is perfect!
