Mx. Phoebe
Fearless is a quick fun read of instant love for Lana (chuckle) or maybe instant lust. Shira Glassman gives us a stud with Melanie who is more than willing to lead Lana down the road of temptation. Now get your minds out of the gutter! I mean trying to play the violin again! Now what were you thinking? (wink) I really liked this quick romance. I didn't care about the substory of interfering with another parent's rules for their own kids so I just ignored that part of the story.
I loved traveling through Israel in Once More With Chutzpah. Haley Neil gives us so much history and descriptions that I feel like a took a course. Now I just made this sound like it is a boring tour guide, but it is not that in any way.

We get to see everyone get their happy-endings except for the guilty of course. I have to say Widow's Island has been a busy place for murders, missing people, and hijinks. I will miss it.

Needs lots of work
The premise is solid. The journey isn't too bad. It has lots of humor. The ending needs to be reworked. Jemma responds to every date like an animal in mating season so it's kind of hard to believe she has been in love with Eve since they met.
Then there are the huge amounts of grammatical and spelling errors. I don't think anyone did any editing on this book. My recommendation would be to look at every quotation mark because almost all of them are done incorrectly. Then I could suggest reading the story out loud.
The synopsis makes it sound like Melin isn't even in this book (chuckle). So not true. Khelek and Secara are the main secondary characters. Melin is still the focus of The Satura Trilogy.
Laurel Beckley introduces the fantasy portion of the science fiction of the series in this book. Expect some fantastical creatures and some interesting lore.
That Slow Awakening can be read as a standalone, but would you want to? I think to understand Melin better you should read the first book, but you don't need to.

For me there was just something missing in the romance and in their friendship. Sometimes second chances can be a miss especially when it is a forced get together and merge with a current friend group. Secrets. Lies. It sounds good as I'm typing it, but it just didn't play out right in the story.

I enjoyed this cozy mystery. I did guess the killer early on in the story. I kind of figured out the motive too. I just didn't make one connection which Celia cleared up for me and for the rest of the crew which makes up Tallie's new team.

I just loved escaping with Hard Target and now I am going to have to go back and start this series from book one because seriously once you get Reznick you gotta have more.

Molly Boys has a really good mystery, right up until the end for me. The story then takes a complete left turn that left me shaking my head and saying, “huh?”

It is for this reason that I don't know whether I recommend Molly Boys or not. The mystery itself is good. The ending of it...is disappointing. I won't be coming back for book two.

One Last Stop is a time-travel diverse romance that takes place over time. (chuckle - no pun intended). I fell in love with Jane, but then who wouldn't fall for a girl who gives you her leather jacket to remember her by. (sigh)

Hope for Spring is not for the faint-hearted. S.E. Smyth takes us back in time to when Alex was just beginning to deal with her bipolar disorder, type 1. The triggering of death of the man who saved her takes Alex through her dark past to the struggles she still fights today. Smyth is descriptive so this might hit hard for those who have triggers. The author doesn't shy away from the harsh realities of mental illness and how it is looked at within one's own family (even if another member suffers from it) to the outside world. Take a deep breath and delve in to get a better understanding for those living with mental health issues.

Melinda Leigh keeps us mired in the family drama with Whisper of Bones. Once again, I did not guess the killer. I actually would have sworn it was someone else so I was a little blind-sided by the actual culprit. Thank you to Leigh. I love being surprised.

Overall, The Comeback is a great listen. I walked Isabella while being entertained between Canada and Korea. Listening to Jihoon have great patience with Ariadne and Ariadne get herself into and out of hot water. Fun walking entertainment.

Bone Deep is filled with action and the ups and downs of joyful news and sad happenings. Elliot kept us in our seats and glued to the pages. I loved every minute of it.

A Pinky Promise is beyond cute. I just simply loved it. Grey has the ability to give readers a sweet and heartwarming romance in a small package with lots of steam. They have become a must read author for me and they should be for you too.

The Only Game In Town feels like a television show. Geonn Cannon gives us a full cast of characters with their baseball team. There is drama, romance, fists flying, and of course baseball.

Liz Faraim's new series is interesting. I like the mystery. I didn't guess the killer, but I did guess the accomplices (of a sort). The mystery doesn't get solved quickly so we get to see the full impact of the event on Randy's life.
