I love the characters and how they all interact with each. I really like the copper Maggie D'arcy and it doesn't matter what coast she is on.

Claire Kincaid gives us a small town romance between a newly minted professor and a college student not much younger than her. Between homesickness, a new life, and trying to figure out whether she can date Maureen. I'm not a fan of the fact that Tracy doesn't tell the truth right off about herself, but I can understand why she was careful. I think changing her life and the journey of discovery she was one, she should have been single a lot longer. BUT, this is a short story and Kincaid makes it work. I like Maureen and Tracy together and that was Unforeseen - pun intended (chuckle).
I enjoyed Oman from the comfort of my bed. I really like Arthur and Tariq. This is not only opposites attract, but a meet-cute that can't be missed.

I really liked this story. I cannot tell you how many times I have sat in a bar writing and occasionally looking up to watch the crowd. Now I have never had the luck that Harley has...I don't think anyone has. I love the repartee, the steam, and the foundation that the characters build. The ending is just as cute and not overdone.
I will confess to having already read book one in this series and thoroughly enjoyed it which made me appreciate this trip back through time to get to learn more about Gothic. I don't know if someone who hadn't already visited there would have enjoyed it as much.

Whittemore gives us the diversity from the first book and adds on to it which I love. Gamin is the place to go if you are a rainbow or from any culture. I love it.
There are also battle scenes, wanna be snark, magic, and of course a mystery. Whittemore constantly breaks the fourth wall and I love it. There are new romances and new alliances. Wake the Dead has a little bit of everything and it all works. I seriously cannot wait for the next book. No worries there are no cliffhangers involved, just the desire to read more of these characters and the wacky place that is Gamin, Minnesota.

There are stories that will hurt your heart. Some pages will make you chuckle. The authors include statistics, sources, and sometimes follow-up information on a story (sometimes that isn't so good (smh)). I read this book in pieces. Sometimes I read one story and other times I would read a few. Some stories are only two paragraphs and others are a couple pages.

Lucky Red isn't a fun story. Or really an entertaining story. It's just another sad rendition of a life and time. I'm actually not sure if I recommend Lucky Red or not. It's a well-written story. I think I would have just rather read a nonfiction piece of a person during that time period even though life would have been harsher. I would have liked to see Bridget's life after Dodge City. Now that would have been an adventure to journey on.

There was no mystery or suspense for me because it was pretty obvious who the villains of the story were right off the bat. I'm The Girl is just a sad tale with no happy ending or justice of the destruction of a sixteen-year-old girl.

If you are looking for ideas to inspire your own group this is the book to read. If you want to find that drive inside you and a way to tap into it - this book is for you. If you want to start a group and have no idea where to start, look no further for inspiration and ideas.

I am so hooked on this series and what happens next with Carly. If you haven't started this series yet, you should before the Eighth Grade Killer begins their final act.

The story is solid. I didn't guess where it was going. I love that. Taylor kept me engaged the entire time. I am adding this series to my reading list and I cannot wait to visit Ireland again with Taylor as my guide.

Lacey writes a pretty steamy romance. You do not want to be listening to this where you could get embarrassed. Or in front of your mother as I was when I was getting ready to take Miss Isabella out and all of a sudden I was in the middle of a sex scene in front of my Mom. Yup that happened.
I liked Stars Collide. I picked it on purpose for Pansexual Pride Day. Happy pride to all of my pans out there!

Thank you to the Author for putting this book in #KindleUnlimited otherwise I could not have afford to read it. Thanks again!
Kelly Quindlen gives us a solid premise in She Drives Me Crazy. I'm actually not a fan of the fake dating trope due to all of the lies involved. This one I kind of like because they were actually enemies. The hoops they jump through allow them to get to know each other beyond their preconceived judgments.

I loved this story and the ill-intentioned road that Jasmine sets herself out on before becoming a better person. Boyer hooked me and kept me until the final page.

Briar Prescott not only had me in stitches, but by the time Gray and Kai got out of their own way...the steam (it's got hot in here!). Whew! Prescott definitely made up for the close calls and the “I can't do this” moments. Humor abounded everywhere. It was awesome.

I thoroughly enjoyed this mystery. I can well imagine the concept of this mystery playing out today. Mason gives us a political intrigue that we can recognize if we look hard enough.

I like Elle and I really like Adam. I truly appreciated the ending in regards to Elle's life. Dodd wrote a solid heroine for Gothic. I am curious about the next heroine for Gothic so I will be continuing the series and sending a note to the publisher about getting Dodd a sensitivity reader.

I found this book a bit tame after all of the compilation books I have been reading lately. Kirstin Cronn-Mills and Alex Jackson Nelson give straight forward information about the history of rainbows in sports as they came to light to the world. I would have preferred a more personal look.
LGBTQ+ Athletes Claim the Field is a great reference book for anyone who needs to look up an athlete or date something happened.
The narrator for The Dollar Rebellion is listed as only Billie Jean King, but the nine are represented in their story. They share the story with laughter, reminiscing, and friendship. King guides the conversation and this is exactly what it feels like. You feel like you are sitting at a table with a group of friends who are talking about the past and you are getting to sit and listen while they tease, talk, and discuss how this affected them at the time. It's a great audible book. I listened to it twice to make sure I caught all of the nuances within the history. I loved it and I have never played tennis. Kudos to these sports legends for making history.
