I really liked Tell Me What You Want. The bdsm is on point. The romance is cute. I like Olivia and Isabela together. I cannot wait to see where Gavez takes us next...she drops a huge clue in the story so be looking for it.

Christina Bauer brings a whole new slew of characters into play in Trickster.
Once again this book, the third in the Angelbound: Lincoln series, is filled with action, wittisms, and the foundation of what makes Lincoln and Myla that battle couple to root for. We face a familiar enemy, but I was curious where this enemy was going in their plan for domination. There is some satisfaction in this quarter, but it is minor (chuckle).
Trickster is a fun romp featuring my favorite battle couple. I can't wait for the next one.

I love Katerina's journey minus the heartbreak she had to go through to end up where she does.
Goforth has a lot of difficult situations happen to Katerina and then Katerina and Anna. Life is difficult and Goforth shows that falling in love does not stop life from rolling over you. There is some violence in the story as the ladies get mugged - it is a breath-stealing scene that brought tears to my eyes.
Life does go on even in a romance. I think this is what I love so much about this story is how even when Katerina doesn't think she will...she survives. She has a great group of friends and family. You need to read Oddbird if only for the journey.

I did not guess the culprit in this mystery and that is awesome. The mystery is solid. The journey to the answer is fun and complicated. Michelle gives a roundhouse of a kick to this start of what looks like a new series. I cannot wait to see Cassie and Hayden again.

When opposites meet sparks fly and it is awesome for us. I love the repartee. I love how their friendship grows and becomes a solid foundation. The interactions between Noah and Beth with Alex made my heart melt. I just love how this whole friendship dynamic plays out. How they both improve each other.
She Gets The Girl plays out just like a movie...a movie I want to watch over and over again.

Shadow Fire brings a lot of heat in the forms of battle, death, and sex. There are many attempts on Brielle's life and therefore many battles to prevent, save, and avenge said actions. It makes for a very thrilling read.

Ensnared by the Alien Medic is a fun space ride. There is blood, guts, torture, and yeah there is some fun in the sheets. It has a little bit of everything. This is a great addition to The Ragrim Conflict series.

I love this story. C.T. Liotta gives us action, villains, diversity, humor, and comeuppance for the bullies. Yay! There is everything to root for in No Good About Goodbye.

Sofia Aves gives us a quickie to kick off her new Z Boys series. These military men are stationed in Australia, but come from all over the world. In A Table For Ten, they come together for their one day off a year to celebrate Christmas.
I do like the twist at the end which says that Ace and Hadleigh will meet again. I hope it's as hot as their kiss.

There are battles on land and in space. There is pain, injuries, betrayals, and death. You never know what Anders has on tap next. The issues are wide and complex. The debate as to what beings will accept and won't accept. There are self-esteem issues on every level. The concept of war and what it means to all sides involved is at the forefront of Victories Greater Than Death.

I liked the mystery, romance, and the steam. I cannot wait to read the other characters' stories because they are just too good to not get their own tale.

Aliens fighting for human rights is a worthy premise and one that I enjoyed. I will admit to liking the slow burn between Dagnar and Lucinda along with the satisfaction after the burn. Gotta love an energizer bunny alien (joke...kinda).
Claugh gives us a slow-burn alien romance with some action, heat, and food. I did not mind returning to this series and can't wait to read the next book.

Christina Bauer pulled on and out all of my heartstrings for this story. There is action, drama, betrayals, and some snark but not as much in the book due to the devastating premise. Bauer once again introduces interesting characters, but this time I want more on these characters.
As much as I cried, I love this story. I will tell you this: there is a happy ending for Myla, Lincoln, and Maxon. Not so much for the bad guys. Armageddon is another fun day in hell with Bauer.

This is a harsh case and people die - some we even get to know and like. Brennan writes a great mystery with a solid case behind it. The Third To Die focuses on the introduction of Quinn and Costa, and I cannot wait to see how the team continues to grow and work together.

Romance is what can get us through a hard time and Alexander provides it through flashbacks and how Carrie and Liza come back together. This romance brought me great cheer. A Masc for Purim has a little bit of everything, but mainly it has a happy ending which I love.

Cursed is an epic story about friendship, family, and romance.
To call this a slow-burn romance would be true, but it is a really slow...slow...slow burn (chuckle). I will give a spoiler, it takes over a hundred years for Sandro and Raijin to get together romantically.
Cursed is a beautiful friends to lovers romance that concentrates on the foundation of a relationship. It may take a hundred years, but the journey is an interesting one.

The road is not an easy one for any of the characters, including Trey. Reed keeps us on our seat as to which direction they are taking us and it was just as good as any Lifetime movie. I watch a lot of ID channel true crime stories, and Reed nails this one. The benefit of Toxic is we are getting a happy for right now and I will take it as will Connor.

Raquel Riley gives us a sweet, funny, age-gap romance that made my heart swoon a bit. I will say that there is some extreme homophobia in this story. I know the caution makes it sound light, but yeah no. Anyone who takes a beating because they are gay, and the beating is described in the book, gets a 5 out of 5 for homophobia. This is not the only incident of homophobia either, but it is the most violent. So beware.
There is so much to get a kick-out of in Lucky Match that I cannot wait for the next book in the series which comes out in June. Sign me up for the Hearts For Hire series because it is all about heart.
