Quick, easy, creepy read. Nothing to build a universe on, but definitely worth a couple hours of your time! 4/5

Fantastic book! They should make a movie out of it.

Used to love these books as a kid. Author's transphobic views have caused me to change my 5 star rating to 1.

The ending was confusing. I thought I got a bad copy of the book, like a paragraph or a chapter was missing, but I checked with other copies and the book really does end the way it did. 

This was my favorite book in the Xanth series! Didn't see the ending coming at all when I was a kid.
