Now, to tell you the truth I don't particularly love this series but I don't think it's complete rubbish either. This book, however, is my favourite of the whole series and the only reason why I ever finished reading the series. That's why I'm giving it four out of five, although it's probably more of a three point five.
A short and sweet Christmas romance. If you love Mr. Thornton and North and South you don't want to miss out on this novella.
Possibly one of the best books I've ever read.
Highly recommend.
However, I feel like I will need countless rereads to fully understand the depth of this book.
3.5/5 stars
I surprisingly enjoyed this a lot.
Although, the world building was a bit lackluster and the ending felt a bit rushed.
However, I still had a wonderful time reading this.
I ended up picking up this book at my local Shopper`s Drug Mart as I really liked the cover and it was on sale for less than ten dollars and I expected it to probably be a mediocre read, however, I was completley wrong! I adored this book so much. the mystery, romance and action make this book so incredbly good. No words can express how much I love this book.
So, I've decided to finally review this book. I first read it back when I was in grade six (almost six years ago!) when I accidentally came across it in my school's library and have been in love with it ever since. It's definitely the best in the series and I just love the cover. Overall, it's a good read.
