This book gives a unique look on how magic and necromancy can work. Certainly an interesting starting point in an amazing series.

Why this book?
For something I got at a book faire in middle school, this has stuck with me for years. It's got an interesting concept of a paranormal mystery. It feels a lot like something you'd read in a pretty good creepypasta nowadays haha
