At first, I had a bad opinion about this book when I saw ‘Alabama' and ‘two teenagers getting into the adoption process', because... yeah... but in the end, I loved everything about it (because they didn't get to be siblings, after all), I could truly connect with the characters and the world. The most memorable moment for me was the talk between the FL and her future adoptive mother, I honestly shed a tear.
Meh, I read it because it brought nostalgic vibes from when I used to read fanfics with this trope back in high school.
it was okay and quite fun... i loved dair the most 🤷🏻♀️ but i can't say it's quite memorable tbh... it reminded me of my teenage years when i used to read kpop fanfics HAHAHA
OH. MY. GOD.
It was exactly what I needed. THANK GOD BOOKS LIKE THIS EXIST. I fricking loved EVERYTHING and I am not even joking. I first read the sample, and after the third chapter I WAS SOLD.
It's so relatable, so funny and cozy, I didn't even care that outside my window it was snowing and in the book it was all about summer and autumn. I. LOVED. IT.
No, scratch that, I LOVE IT. Jane is so relatable, and Tripp is an adorable man. I didn't even mind the fact that I knew what was going to happen with the plot. I loved the strong friendship between the girls, and the side-story for Millie and Lottie. I had a great time, a good laugh, and I teared up at the end (despite me being on my period)... it was beautiful.
I enjoyed the writing style and all the characters. I will continue the series and hope to finish it before this year ends 😭🩷 If you want something quick, funny and cozy, just to relax your brain, I RECOMMEND IT WITH MY ENTIRE HEART.
I loved it! Sure, the first 52% of the book waa boring, but after that? Oh boy. I LOVED IT! The cliffhanger? Chief's kiss.
It's just not my cup of tea 🤷🏻♀️ I mean, it just doesn't make me eager to read it anymore... which is unfortunate. The writing style isn't my favourite either.
The book got very, very boring, quite fast, and I don't know... I can't force myself to read a book if I just can't find it interesting. I hate the way she writes, really, it's just not fun to see so a good deal of unnecessary information. I also don't understand some jokes, and... it's not Dramione coded at all, which was my main reason for wanting to read this book again, lol. A shame to discontinue it at 53% :(
The best book I could ever read this year, truthfully. I loved everything it had to offer, the world, the characters, the plot-twists, the bloodshed, tears and desire for power. I love Jude so much, and the fact that she is only a human being, no powers, simple brown hair and brown-walnut eyes? Amazing. I loved everything about it! 11/10
The beginning: boring, the middle: kinda interesting, the end: boring. The chapters were too long and the constant swearing just turned me off.
I really loved this book and I am glad that I decided to give it a try! I really love how it's written, the pace and how lovable the MCs are. I thought it would be darker, though, but I am happy to say it's not as dark as it seems. The spice was also kinda good. Anyway, it might be my favorite book so far and, perhaps, for the whole year <3
I have forced myself to start this book, because I genuinely wanted to continue the series... but I was disappointed by the insta love + the summer vibes. I think I'll just pass reading the 3rd book as well.
This? This was my everything /3
I feel like crying, and I rarely cry when it comes to books or fanfics. BUT THIS? I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY I AM SNIFFLING AND WHAT'S UP WITH THE STRAY TEARS ROLLING DOWN MY CHEEKS
WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME, LAUREN ROBERTS 😭😭😭😭😭 I mean, don't get me wrong, I knew the ending because it was quite obvious, BUT WHAT KAI SAID AT THE END???? I FELT MY HEART SHATTEERRRR
I want to cry.
This must be the best book of the entire series for me tbh.
Amazing soft love story! I didn't expect to love it this much, definitely worth the time. Very relaxing ♥︎
It was so funny, so awkward, so beautifully written, it played with my heartstrings.
I loved everything about it! It was super funny, it was adventurous, it felt British enough to me, haha, everything was perfect! Definitely re-reading it at one point 🩷
