Overall a fun read. More of a story about friendships and relationships with a side story of romance.

Loved this! Who knew I needed a Christmas closed-room mystery romance novel in my life? I'll read this again next year.

I loved this book. I loved Amina, the protagonist, an irreverent pirate and a complex character. Looking forward to the rest of the trilogy. The audiobook was excellent.

I gave up after the second story.

Not my usual style, but it was an enjoyable listen.

A really honest, warm, sometimes funny, and engaging listen (read by the author).

I'm really glad that I read this book, as I appreciate the overview of American history through a lens of how it affected the poor and marginalized. It was a dense book, full of information; I had to borrow it from the library 4 or 5 times to finish it.
