An excellent zoomed-out view that organizes all things marketing. What fundamentally is marketing? What are you doing when you're marketing something? How do all the 13,245 marketing tips you hear on a daily basis fit into marketing?
The book explains the broad structure, so now anything you read regarding marketing will build upon it. It also gives you a step-by-step approach to follow and apply everything you learned.
A great overview of all things productivity but lacks depth. It doesn't get deep into any of the subtopics, but covers a wide range of them and that's the point. But whenever things started getting interesting, the topic changed which was pretty disappointing. Anyway, this will be my recommendation as an introduction to productivity. Next in line will be Cal Newport's legendary Deep Work obviously.
